Night dive from the shore or during our Sunset/Night boat trip

In the spawning season, join us for a coral spawning dive 

At night, everything is different underwater. The parrot fishes sleep in their bubbles, the octupuses and moray eels go out hunting, a million shrimps eyes glow in the dark, and the plancton is fluorescent. Join us for a night dive to discover a different universe!

Night dive from the shore

During this night dive from the shore, you will discover Magallan reef, shallow and diverse. We have seen creatures there than we had never seen in any other dive sites around here! We leave just after the sunset, and you will come back for a late dinner.

Sunset/Night dive boat trip

We organise an afternoon/night boat trip with 2 dives : the first dive will be at the end of the afternoon, then you will enjoy the sunset from the boat during the surface interval, and the second dive will be a night dive.

Coral spawning night dive

Once a year on very specific dates, coral spawning happen : the corals release some ovules and sperm in the water to reproduce. To observe the coral spawning is one of the best experience we have ever had while diving, something very unique and interesting to observe ! 

During the coral spawning dives, we will monitor the spawning and/or collect the ovules and sperm from the corals. The monitoring of coral spawning is very important to understand how we can help corals to recover and if we successfully collect the gametes, FUNDEMAR will use them to do the assisted fertilisation in their laboratory.

Coral spawning happens on specific dates in May, August and September. Ask us for the spawning calendar if you are planning to dive on those months.

Minimum certificacion: Open Water or equivalent.
