Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

The Discover Scuba Diving program is a half-day boat trip
with 2 local dives for non-certified divers

Whether you have been diving before or not, if you are not a certified diver but want to dive without doing a scuba diving course, then the PADI Discover Scuba Diving program is for you !

The Discover Scuba consists of a half-day boat trip with 2 dives on 2 different dive sites, at a maximum depth of 12 m (40 ft). At the end of the experience, you won’t be scuba certified, but it is a fantastic experience!

First, your instructor will give you a full briefing about all you need to know for diving safely. Then, we will embark on board of our boat and navigate to the first dive site, where you will do a few skills in shallow water in order to get used to the diving equipment and know the basic rules. No rush, we will take the time that you need to get used to the equipment. When you are ready, you will explore the dive site with your instructor and be able to see some beautiful reefs.

After the dive, we will take a break on the boat for approximately 45 minutes, while the boat moves to the second dive site. Drinks and snacks will be served on board the boat, before doing the second dive. Each dive lasts approximately 45 minutes underwater. You will be with your instructor at all times during the dive. We take maximum 2 non certified diver per instructor.

The PADI DSD is not a certification, ask us for scuba courses like the PADI Open Water Diver course (4 days) or the Scuba Diver course (2 days) to get certified!

• 2 dives to a maximum depth of 40 ft/12 m (max 2-3 people per instructor, if you are more than 3, we take another instructor)

Not included

• Transportation from/to your hotel outside Bayahibe (Dominicus: + 20 US$ per group up to 8 people, both ways, Punta Cana: + 180 US$ per group up to 8 people, both ways)
• Extra if diving in Peñon Reef (+ 20 US$ per person)
• Extra for a full day excursion to Peñon, with visiting Cotubanama National Park, Natural Pool and the mangroves (+ 70 US$ per person)
